Olympus E5 Review: Captures Gorgeous Images With Modern Features
For years, I used the same digital camera to capture image after image. I noticed that a lot of my friends’ and families’ images, though, were turning out far better than mine. It got so bad that I started asking friends and family to email their photos of special events to me so I wouldn’t miss out on high-quality memories. Finally, I decided that enough was enough and that it was time for me to make the upgrade to a more modern model. I decided on the latest and greatest by Olympus, and I am writing this Olympus E5 review to tell you more about my experience with it.
A Closer Look at This Camera
When I was shopping around and reading Olympus E5 reviews myself, I learned that the E5 was designed to modernize the E3. I did not have an E3, so largely these reviews were pretty pointless for me. So I looked more at the features of the camera instead of comparing the camera to its predecessor. The camera features a powerful 12.3-megapixel LIVE MOS sensor as well as a powerful image processor with TruePix V+ technology. More than that, it also comes with a video feature as well, giving you the benefit of enjoying a dual device that combines still images with video images.
The Feel of the Camera
In my Olympus E5 review, I also want to talk about the overall feel of the camera. It is not one of those ultra-lightweight models that you feel as though you might forget you are carrying, and it also doesn’t have a size that is so small in design that you keep double checking to make sure your finger isn’t in the picture. Yet while it has some size and weight to it, it is not at all uncomfortable to carry around at all. What’s best, though, is that packed inside this durable frame with a classic style, you will find powerful features that capture great images.
Olympus E5 Review – Why I Chose This One
You may be wondering why I ultimately decided to buy this model and am now writing an Olympus E5 review. When this camera arrived at my house, it was on a Friday afternoon. That weekend, we had my daughter’s birthday party and my son was in a flag football game, too. We had family coming in from out of town to visit as well. Clearly, it was a prime photo opportunity! The fact is that I was so impressed with this camera. It caught images I could have only dreamed about capturing with my old camera, like that exact moment when the birthday candles were blown out and my son catching his first ever touchdown pass in the end zone. These are priceless moments, and I am so glad I was able to capture them with this camera.
